Firstly for those looking at this, they are just shock absorbers, you need to match them with your bike/ride height specific springs. You will also need a spring compression tool to install the springs on the shocks, but they aren't that expensive and were fairly easy to install. The instructions were a bit vague but if you take your time and use your common sense it's not that hard to figure out. Still, I like these new shocks so far. I installed them on my '82 Yamaha and so far it's making a huge difference. Ride height is restored and the road is easier to drive. I bought them for the 14 series to save some money. At first I was a little nervous about having to install springs (I'm new to working on bikes) but so far I'm not disappointed with my purchase.
