Stable performance, shock absorber with cheap price.

Excellent shock absorbers. The damping is not adjustable, but the rear wheel is easy to control. The Progressive's recommended spring rate feels a bit light, so I'd recommend using their spring rate for heavier applications, especially if you're carrying a passenger. This is my third set of progressive shocks (three different bikes) and the improvements have been constant. Not sure about durability - 5000 miles on just one bike and 300 on the other (the first was sold a long time ago) but for a

What my bike needs

Firstly for those looking at this, they are just shock absorbers, you need to match them with your bike/ride height specific springs. You will also need a spring compression tool to install the springs on the shocks, but they aren't that expensive and were fairly easy to install. The instructions were a bit vague but if you take your time and use your common sense it's not that hard to figure out. Still, I like these new shocks so far.
