This product replaced an identical link on a 2003 sailboat tiller that had cracked over time. If the new one lasts 13 years like the original, I'll be more than satisfied. This is a completely identical part from the same manufacturer and quite flexible. It was easy to replace. I recommend watching a YouTube video of the replacement process. it was very helpful. However, his replacement is pretty obvious. Just remember to put the shrink tubing on the tiller extension BEFORE connecting the pivot. This connection is made for a flat top wood or square metal tube tiller. A round pipe cutter requires a curved adapter.
