This item looks good and works great if you can get it to stay on your feet. After walking for about 30 minutes, the brace will slide down your leg until you can no longer walk as it has gone so far as to almost immobilize you. Despite attempts to tighten the straps or change the position of the brace, it just won't stay in place. A very thin line of silicone applied to the inside of the mount will help hold it in place. Perhaps more silicone would have allowed this to stay in place to work properly. The velcro wears out very quickly despite claims to be durable and will last a long time even with repeated use iff and whatnot. My husband really needs a brace to hold his knees in place and make walking easier. It would be a great brace if it stayed in place. I'm open to suggestions as to where to find this silicone product. Maybe this could solve the problem.
