Review on ๐Ÿ’ช Bilstein 4600 Series Shock Absorber (24-186094): Superior Performance and Durability by Adam Krueger

Revainrating 5 out of 5

We need two heads for 22 for DIY.

These shocks were advertised as suitable for standard ride height trucks. In my case this is a 2007 Dodge 2500. They are about 2 inches longer than the stock shocks which I removed but seem to fit and work well. If you install them yourself, you will need two 22mm socket wrenches. a wrench on the end of the bolt to keep it from turning when you loosen the nut on three of the four bolts, but you'll need to reach over the frame to get to the top bolt (with extension) on the passenger side. I don't have two 22mm sockets, but a little experimentation showed that one spark plug head would hardly fit those old big spark plugs. It seems like a 14mm wrench and 9/16 are about the same. port freight. Adapt, improvise and overcome.
