Three days ago I assembled a laptop stand and placed it next to the monitor. The height is perfect for the office ergonomics recommended by my company. I had neck problems from looking down when my laptop was on my desk. To date, neck problems have disappeared! Note that I don't use the laptop's keyboard or mouse pad when the laptop is on the stand - I have a separate keyboard and mouse in a drawer on my computer desk. I highly recommend this sturdy and simple stand!
