I've used this board a few times - I needed a smaller one when I needed to cut something quickly. other reviewers have mentioned this) consists of processing it before using it. I washed it with mild soap and water as soon as I opened it and the wood had already started to fall off a bit so I immediately treated it with food grade mineral oil which seemed to help. However, unlike other woods, this one isn't as absorbent (probably a good thing for a cutting board) so you don't really need a lot of oil. The only other issue is the sticker on the back, it leaves a sticky residue that is difficult to remove but other than that it seems like a good buy for the price I've paid so far. It also looks very good, which I think is important for people using it for presentations.
