Fix that blurry image

For me, photography includes children's sports, bands, hiking and other occasions. I recently upgraded my telephoto lens to a faster version, which meant a lot more weight and more of a challenge holding the camera steady. Using a tripod in cross-country competitions doesn't really work, so a monopod was the solution. I wanted something durable and wearable but didn't want to spend a lot of money as it is a rare item. After extensive research, the choice fell on the Opteka M900. This is a sturdy monopod with a large handle and secure camera attachment point. Extensions work smoothly and quickly. I had an issue with the clasp not holding the extension in place. The solution was to tighten the clasp with a simple $2 allen wrench. After tightening the screw for a loose mount, everything was fine. He no longer wobbled. If you intend to use it as a walking stick, be prepared for the handle size. It's a bit big for small hands and probably won't be comfortable for long periods of time. This is great for the occasional creek crossing so you and your gear don't get wet. All in all, this is a very solid purchase for the weekend enthusiast. One star is missing because the screw needs to be readjusted, but otherwise a great product at this price.
