Review on πŸ”’ JCHL D Rings Tie Down Anchors Hooks: Heavy Duty 1/4" 2400lb Capacity (10-Pack) by Zachary Spaulding

Adding anchor points is easy.

These tie down rings, or D-rings as they are often called, help secure light loads. I like the finish of the rings and their base plates. Compared to many I've bought over the years, these are better quality than most. Keep in mind that they are only intended for light loads. I would suggest screwing the mounting plates together and using either washers or some other backing plate system on the underside of the equipment location as the screws provided have limited holding capacity and are likely to have a weak attachment point depending on the material they are mounted to. For the price, these are some of the best lightweight attachment points I've bought over the years. They can be conveniently placed on a trailer etc. for additional load securing. Do not overload these mounts and check equipment while using it. Be aware of the limitations of these attachment points and they are a useful complement to other attachment methods. Their price and quality make them a great choice, just use them according to the design and review and you will find them a useful addition. I use them as temporary anchor points and place them where they are most effective. If you're using them to secure a load, you can bolt these attachment points and even use reinforcement on the back of the surface they're attached to. The supplied screws are suitable for small and light loads. If the load is close to the bracket's rated capacity, consider using a pass-through bracket with a base plate or washers on the bottom of the bracket to secure the rings.
