Update 1 year later: I found that a unit had failed and disabled my PCM causing intermittent engine shutdowns and "freezes". It turned out to be one of those coils. It came with a bent and cracked input jack which I repositioned and replaced with epoxy. Thought only smoothing would work, which worked for a while. Then I got various and sporadic unrelated PCM errors and instant full engine shutdowns. After a few months he finally found out that the coil was faulty and which cylinder it was on. I switched it to a different cylinder and the error followed the coil. I replaced the coil and it's been running again for a month. Next time I'll grab one of several Auto brand NAPA reels, yes twice the price but now I see it's worth it. So far I've had good luck with them. Improved idle and performance after 120,000 miles from OEM modules. I had one, originally with a cracked/bent plastic bushing. I just did it and it worked for about 4 months then it started misbehaving causing hiccups at times and stalling at idle. Wanted to replace it immediately so I paid double for a pack of Denso coils from local NAPA (OEM Chrysler they said and I think priced at $42 each) and now the problem seems to be solved. Note: No code was issued for a long time after the hiccup problem began. Should have sent it back when I received it as it was clearly damaged (retrospectively) at some point in its journey.
