Review on Weller ETB Screwdriver Soldering 🔧 Tip: Compatible with PES51, WE1010NA, WES51, WESD51 by Todd Phillips

It may not be fair to judge a product by an item I have purchased but it was not manufactured correctly. Electroplating left stains all over the tip, it could not be used for soldering at all. Since I left it in my bag until I needed it, it wasn't a pleasant surprise and left me unable to do what I needed to do. It was so messed up I don't know how it passed quality control and I will keep other people away from genuine Weller/Apex tips in the future. It may or may not be that they sold Apex to another company, so it's not the same as I recall. All I can say is don't expect good advice the first time. Also of note is that I took the time to write Apex a letter and sent the letter along with my bad advice and product receipt. I gave them the option to replace it, say it's fake or something. I sent it with the signature required, it was signed, that was the end of the story, I never got a reply from them. I emailed the request and got something like "We are not responsible for questions sent through the mail". So, aside from the bad product, the company didn't even answer a question about it. Hence one star because Revain doesn't allow zero stars.
