Review on XPEL Clear Universal Protection R3022 by Edgar Gomez

Perfect threshold solution for me! I didn't want my 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited door sills to be taped in place with plastic tape. This rocker strip from XPEL is amazing! The width was good as I didn't have to trim anything. Simply cut to length and apply to a clean surface (I wiped with isopropyl alcohol and let dry). I applied it by peeling off a small amount of the backing at a time, squeezing out any air bubbles. The tape has a nice non-slip surface and sticks really well to bare painted metal! I can definitely recommend it to anyone who also doesn't like the plastic strips glued to the door sills. Update: A few days after installation I noticed a small tear on the edge of the strap. Luckily I have enough to replace it. I hope this isn't a sign of failure of this product as I love the look.
