Got this to complement my inner two LaView cameras. Big!

Back in September (2020) I bought and installed two indoor cameras from Laview which have proven to be very reliable and easy to use, so this month (March 2021) I received one of their outdoor cameras. . It was very easy to install and *relatively* easy to set up on my network. (The process was identical to setting up the internal camera. Filming required me to fiddle around at the very beginning. Two things I learned: to keep working, with less reliable WiFi, but to avoid a headache, the FIRST connection your system should have have an excellent Wi-Fi signal.2: I had a bit of an issue initially with the whole 2.4GHz/5GHz issue (they only run on 2.4GHz, but my entire home mesh network is a combination, and initially I had I'm not a network guru, I don't even pretend to be, but I set up a guest network that was only running on 2.4GHz and connected the cameras to that network, I don't know if it's Worth it but I feel safer when they are "fenced off" from my main wifi connection in our chicken coop - nice to make sure we close the door for the night etc without having to go there. ) This night view is AMAZING BTW the I Indoor cameras have decent night vision, but often not nearly as wide as those on the outside. In any case, this camera is EXACTLY what I need. The feed arrives reliably and instantly on my phone, and my other Laview cameras have worked reliably with no downtime, so I expect the same from this inexpensive but very useful camera. I can't comment on water resistance etc, but will edit this post if I feel the need.
