They looked beautiful at my backyard wedding. Not as thick as I imagined (you can see light through them if you pick them up), but much stronger than styrofoam or paper. When I was full, I still held them with both hands. They looked gorgeous at my backyard wedding in place of chargers and to reinforce our taco boys' fragile paper plates.
