Just opened the box and found the mounting base is plastic. Not quite sure how long this will last weather dependent. No mounts for air compressors. The calls are ok, some metal, I don't know the sound yet. Will be updated after installation. Update November 7, 2018 Just installed the horns. I play an 18 wheeler for a living, wasn't expecting the sound of a big truck. They are ok, good sound, not much volume. They are better than stock horns on my Dodge 2500 Ram. These horns sound like you're hearing them in a small panel van. If you don't want to spend an extra $100 and mess around with installing an air tank, these are the way to go. Don't expect super loud, let your neighbors wet their bed loud, just noticeably louder than the factory. The installation didn't go too bad. If you can change the spark plugs and hook up some wires, this shouldn't be a problem for you. I would give them 3.75 stars, not as loud as they portray, plastic bell mounts. There is no wiring harness, you need to buy it separately. I will show 4 stars but I really think 3.75 by 1st day with them.
