Before reading the rest of the review, please note that I bought this box "used" so I was expecting "cosmetic damage" as stated in the description. I care for 20 rescued cats and kittens at a time and have boxes of all sizes and from most major brands on Revain. Finding a half-price crate is always a "score". This box is by far the best finished box I have ever owned. It is extremely durable and you will immediately notice when you pick up the box because it is very heavy. The design is unique and has (for me) both advantages and disadvantages. A garage door is something I've wanted for a long time as I often chain multiple drawers together. Not having to dismantle the door saves a lot of work. Just pick it up and get it out of the way. The design of the locking system on the front door annoyed me, but I couldn't tell if it was the design of the door or the many bent wires that caused the box to arrive. c (Beware, this is what is called "cosmetic damage". I finally removed the doorknob and now the door works fine. Definitely I like this system more than the usual deadbolt and hinge locking system. Both doors are HUGE!! This allows me to take out, clean and return any size litter box without dumping dirty litter on the crate or floor of my kennel to get the crate out.Love this feature!I have always relied on Midwest for the reliable , quality products i need to keep my nursing home reasonably priced but with this crate they exceeded all my expectations worth every penny note i also gave a 5 star rating for 'travel' but the weight of this crate may not make it the best option for this goal.
