When shooting interiors, distortions are negligible and can be easily corrected. There is practically no vignetting. Chromatic aberrations are minor. All shortcomings are corrected when converting from RAW. Panoramas stick together the first time without dancing with a tambourine. Moreover, in PTGui, in PS - there are no incomprehensible transitions of gradations in the sky, there are no pillars "tumbled down" in different directions. It makes no sense to compare this lens with fixes, or portrait lenses - it is sharpened for another, but a group portrait can be taken if necessary - leave free margins - after all, you need to show the surrounding atmosphere. There was a strange complaint in one of the reviews - that the edges pull a lot . - it doesn’t pull hard, but in the center of the frame you can normally place a person and make a spectacular frame with perspective distortions at the edges. About blurring at f2.8 at 16mm at the edges of the frame - look how farther objects located at the edge of the frame are from the lens than those in the middle . how can they not be blurred with a small depth of field? Try to place your subjects equidistant from the camera - in an arc.
