I know nothing about knitting, except for a beginner's knitting guide that claims to make the longest circular needles you can find. This multipack was a good deal so I bought them. They have an odor but otherwise seem normal. I think the plastic tube shows a little thin and the part that connects to the bamboo seems to be a weak point but like I said I don't know anything I'm a newbie my project seems to be going well, the wood feels soft and doesn't splinter my yarn. The tubing gets tangled easily and those connections bother me, I feel like as my project gets more difficult I need to figure out if I'm doing it right he they will as I'm not sure yet if knitting is my taste.
