Review on Dorman M390342 Brake Master Cylinder by Andrew Gomez

Dorman M390342 New master cylinder fits well. Hasn't worked since the day of installation. After bleeding a new Dorman M390342 master cylinder and installing it, the master cylinder had a consistent internal leak. After many attempts to bleed the brake system for a hard pedal, I took the car to an ASE certified shop and the repair cost me $500 including the original Nissan master cylinder. The item was not returned because the return period has expired. It's very frustrating to waste time pumping the system and wasting money twice because of a bad part. No installer ever fixes just one specific problem. I am sure others who have purchased this product outside of Revain have experienced the same error. Human lives depend on a quality product. I highly recommend buying OEM parts.
