Do not buy this item!
It gets to the point where I think it's fair to save time for others. First, I have a very, very powerful computer. I won't go into detail because this is just to explain why this reader sucks. Simply put, it does NOT read at 16x. I tried it on 3 computers, average read speed is 1.8/1.9x. I've seen it 2x but it doesn't stay there for long. Keep in mind that it claims to read at 16x, 1.9x isn't even 2% of the claimed read speed. So save time. Don't buy this!
