A cheap and easy way to practice your calligraphy!

These markers are a quick, easy and inexpensive way to practice calligraphy, especially for beginners. Good color palette but some of them are a bit weak, notably grey, red and pink. The second layer can darken them in an acceptable way. They bleed a little through the 80gsm paper I use. They are good for what they are though and with practice you can get really good effects on thicker paper when blending and blending colors. I prefer Staedtler duo markers and have been using them for many years but unfortunately they have reduced their range to around 5 colours. Once you've mastered the basic calligraphy fonts (plain, uncial, gothic, and italic), you might want to invest in a traditional pen. Again, for practical reasons, they're hard to beat!
