The price couldn't be better

I have given some basic calligraphy lessons and would recommend these pens. For the money they are the best out there. are they accurate No, but for a beginner they are just right. And the best thing about calligraphy markers is that they are always ready to write. Try it with drying cartridge pens. After using them in class I use them instead of my more expensive metal tipped pens. There's a lot to like here. I really can't understand why some people rate them so badly. If they're dry, I doubt

  • boring packaging

A cheap and easy way to practice your calligraphy!

These markers are a quick, easy and inexpensive way to practice calligraphy, especially for beginners. Good color palette but some of them are a bit weak, notably grey, red and pink. The second layer can darken them in an acceptable way. They bleed a little through the 80gsm paper I use. They are good for what they are though and with practice you can get really good effects on thicker paper when blending and blending colors. I prefer Staedtler duo markers and have been using them for many…

  • Available in black only

not very good

It is not as described by the seller, was well packaged and arrived on time. I tried these pens as soon as I took them out of the box. I tried both tips and painted on both card stock and watercolor paper. Writing on cardboard was anything but smooth. Using these pens was a definite strain - almost as if the pens were dry and not fully filled with ink. They will never work for watercolor paper lettering that has a design for a postcard or note. Even if you tried to manipulate it like a regular…
