Random pops

Random pops, similar to the sound you hear when you turn off the source or mixer before turning off the amp. Large and easy to pair. As far as I can tell the range seems okay, but I bought it to run break-style music from my phone/tablet through a digital mixer when playing audio for bands. When testing, I got these random/random popping noises, like the connection was lost for a split second. This could happen close to the receiver, so it wasn't a Bluetooth range issue. I also tested a separate analog mixer/speaker to eliminate the possibility of interference from the digital mixer itself with the same result. Since I had a gig in a few days, I immediately ordered a TP-Link Bluetooth 4.1 receiver. (here): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YPATOEE/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2 and it worked perfectly. It's a few bucks more and a little more, but it worked great and is definitely worth the extra money. Thanks to the sellers for sending me a replacement. It worked much better (still pops up once or twice on first connection). Will continue to use the above TP-Link for gigs with this one at home and am happy with the price. I have updated my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars to reflect the seller's response and the performance of the replacement.
