Review on Upgraded Press Fit 30 to Outboard Bottom Bracket with Superior ABEC 3 Bearings for Enhanced Performance by Roy Niemeyer

2012 Kona Jake the Serpent. Originally supplied with PF30 BB. Almost a year ago I changed the group and switched to Shimano 105 24mm cranks. This BB was very easy to install and definitely fit 24mm cranks, but no matter what I did I couldn't get these things to not squeak. At first it was just under stress. I drive almost 20 miles to work every day and have to climb a big hill in each direction. Slowly the creaking got louder and in the end it started to creak even at rated load. I chose PF30 BB and WM back rubbers. I give them three stars as they did what they promised (installed the PF30BB and installed 24mm cranks) and they have never let me down technically but I have a 200 mile tour ahead of me and I didn't trust them. Output. In my opinion they should have lasted at least three years with my driving style (not power but at least 100 miles a week) and not squeak like them. I tried tightening and loosening them as well as the adhesives but I just couldn't get them to not squeak.
