Recommendation: do not buy! I have two of these, one at each end of a fiber that is about 350 feet long. The connection regularly breaks between fiber points. And it stays broken until one side is cut off for a few seconds. wtf. This diagnostic came from my network engineer. If the diagnosis is correct (and I tend to agree) then the adapter completely defeats the purpose of long runs. And adds hours and hours of costly troubleshooting. I live in Montana and walk 4 times today through 300 knee deep snow to a mechanical shed. I want my money back for her. Please Mark Smith
