I bought this so I didn't have to worry about taking my wyzecams down to charge periodically. In the winter, with far less sun, and cloudy weather, it does indeed charge the cams enough to get a net charge. The panels are compact, but accumulate enough light. They can pivot around the base, and hinge up and down once mounted.I was most impressed with the plug that goes into the camera. It is shaped perfectly to fit into the slot of the rubber cap that flips up and covers the power switch and the charging port with a rubber boot to keep the elements out.Your Wyze Cam Outdoor becomes fully wireless and remote and effectively maintenance free if you mount it in an area that gets sunlight at least half the day.
