Review on Tenda N301 N300 Wireless Wi-Fi Router, Simple Setup, Speeds up to 300Mbps, White by Li Kai ᠌

I bought this machine to replace the deceased Zyxel Keenetic Lite. Everything seems to be good, ated to the latest available firmware V5.07.63.1_ru. But also, as already mentioned here, I noticed a periodic increase in ping time. This is noticeable on Ip-Tv - the picture periodically freezes for a very short time, but it was especially unpleasant when using SIP telephony - audibility disappears for a couple of seconds, then it is restored again. Previously, this was not the case with Zyxele. I checked the ping to the router (19220228.0.1) - by wire and WiFi - periodically (about once a minute) ping jumps up to 1700-2022 ms, occur simultaneously on both LAN and WiFi. I flashed the English version of the firmware, it seems that the ping delays have become less, but in the English version it looks like some problems with IGMP-multicast, - IP-TV did not work on it. I decided to return the 2022 one, but not the last one, but the previous one V5.07.62_ru_03 (it comes with it from the factory). After the firmware, I could not enter the control panel of the router, they also wrote about this - the default password stopped working, although no one has changed it. The hardware reset of the router to the factory settings helped - you need to press the reset button and hold it for 10 seconds, All settings will be reset and the login to the control panel will be restored. On this firmware, the ping picture is better than on the last 2022 one - on the wire (LAN) the delays disappeared completely, on WiFi jumps exactly every minute up to 150-220ms, in general it became tolerable. I can recommend this software. Reported ping jumps to 2022 technical support - they are silent. I also put a radiator on the chip, as it gets very hot, although it worked stably without a radiator. Nevertheless, in general, I liked the router :) if it were not for the ping delay, it would have been an unambiguous 5 ka.
