I installed mine on a PI 4 B already running Raspbian. No special assembly or drivers required. Turned it on and a small desktop appeared on the screen. The picture was sharp. Because the desktop was set up to work with a mouse, the touch controls were functional enough for such a small screen, even with my rather large index finger. It also works in dual screen mode when a monitor is connected to the HDMI port. I was able to change primary/secondary, rotation, resolution, and position using Raspbian's built-in menus. I definitely recommend this device.
