For devices that have to be used behind furniture, I prefer to use angled AC plugs. Proper angle prevents damage to cables where the cable exits the connector. Inexpensive rectangular AC connectors are sometimes difficult to find and usually not available in large hardware stores. These snap connectors are well made and easy to use. They seem ideal for lamps, radios, and other low-power electrical devices. This was my 5th order. gratitude
