My table saw is old and the separator and blade guard were a piece after having to remove them after a ton of cuts and a 1/4 shift of jamming. I made a zero spacer plate and bought this. I had to tap lightly on the spot. The wood didn't pinch the blade and it's really nice to be able to just pop the splitter out with little effort. Makes things quick and easy.
