I had a little problem with the 5 stars as the case back didn't fit. Because of this, the clock was not fully vertical when mounted on the wall... as a result, the pendulum stopped after about three hours. Called the company and got a rather unexpected response. They told me there was something wrong with the electronic motor and that I would have to go to the watch shop as they do not repair these watches. In any case, I understood what went wrong (the mechanism driving the pendulum rubbed the engine case), and everything is fine in the "guard village”. And YES, the chime volume is adjustable.
