I love the design and practice games that come with the mat. Orientation and stroke length for each distance is an excellent guide. The speed is very close to that on well-maintained golf courses. If you switch to a field with slow greens after training on this mat, it will take some time to get used to. The only thing that bothers me about this rug is that the edges don't stay down. As a result, I have to tape them to hit from the farthest corners of the mat. It's not a major inconvenience, it might just be an annoying extra setup component. I would recommend this to anyone as I've already seen much better speed control in my kicks. Now I very rarely miss a putt so thank you good putt for helping me stop hitting the ball like a sausage.
