Review on 🏰 Disney Princess Dance Castle by KidKraft by Kenny Davey

Poor customer service, cheap production, difficult to assemble

It took me and my partner just over an hour to assemble. Some of them can be done by one person, but installing doors is a two-person job. KidKraft uses nuts and bolts to attach the doors to the rest of the dollhouse, making it extra difficult to do with just one person. It's been one of the hardest things I've had to collect lately (and we've collected a lot of IKEA items in the past). In general, the dollhouse is cheaply made. I wasn't looking for an heirloom but I'm pretty sure my older 3 will destroy it with normal use before my younger one appreciates it which is a disappointment. I can't believe Revain thought this was worthy of the Children's Holiday Gift Guide. To add to the annoyance, replacing a missing or damaged part in KidKraft is next to impossible. The box arrived intact but there was a huge nick on the large panel inside the box (not sure if it was poorly packaged or if it was a quality control issue). To submit an inquiry on the KidKraft Parts Inquiry website, you must have a specific model and lot number (available only in the assembly instructions). The website does not work on mobile devices, in Safari or Chrome browsers. The site won't tell you this until after you've entered all the required information - just to make things even more annoying. KidKraft support informed me that I need to have a compatible browser installed on my computer to submit the request. They didn't make a parts request on my behalf even after I gave them the information they needed. The overall experience was that I would not buy another KidKraft product for our family.
