I got this because I've seen a lot of other leather artists using it and wanted to watch it on my YouTube channel (I'll add a link when I post a video ) . Maybe it was just the one I got but I shouldn't have worried. I had a new battery that I took from another device that I just put it in. Didn't work, different battery, still nothing. Check the tip, remove and insert, make sure it is tight and working. Try on a branch and nothing. These things work very simply, the button closes the circuit to + and - on the battery and the tip heats up, that's all. Anyway, I disassembled it, cleaned all the contacts and tried again. It worked a couple of times and nothing. I've been trying to work him out for a few weeks when he wants results. I tried several batteries and each time made sure the tip was tight, nothing significant happened.
