NOT FOR MEDIUM/LARGE DOGS - pictures are deceiving

Not suitable for large dogs. It's not safe. The "anchors" are lightweight plastic pieces that slip out easily, especially when the dog's weight is distributed beyond the edge of the actual seat. I thought it would be a safe option for my pup but she was injured when I had to stop abruptly due to an irresponsible oncoming driver. She does have a harness on her seat belts, but the "hammock" tempted her to lie somewhere else, close to the edge, with a false sense of security. Strapped in as tight as possible, but it's not a tight hammock and doesn't fit my Honda Element. When I stopped abruptly, the anchors came loose and her body fell forward. Just started using it and berated myself for letting my older dog in when I was skeptical. Now she's limping. Wouldn't recommend it. I wish I could go back :(TL;DR: Invest in a solid, well-formed bed for the back seat. It's cheap, yes, but it could cost you additional vet bills, or possibly worse.
