I love this! I was worried about purchasing the already opened product but you would never ever know! There are a few loose ropes on one side but you can't tell because I have it hanging from a vaulted ceiling. It even came with a bulb! It is beautiful at night because the light reflects through the textural shade and creates a lovely pattern on the walls. Don't buy this if you are looking for a light that emits a ton of light. It is more for the beauty of the shade. It was hard to tell in the pictures but the cord and hardware is all black and the shade itself is a dark brown. Also note that the shade can not be removed from the hardware - it is connected. Was very easy to instal myself.
