This thing is AWESOME! I paid full price, genuine review. I've been into night vision goggles for a while and most of them have such a narrow field of view that they're useless for backyard viewing - like looking through a telescope. Then if you use an IR emitter through a window it will bounce back and not work at all. Basically it is an ultra low light camera. It has day mode, twilight mode and night mode. In total darkness you will need an IR illuminator which I ordered for $8. Just got it, turned off the light in the office, closed the door and blinds, looked into the dark corners under the tables in day mode and everything is fine. Can easily see through windows and has a 42 degree field of view compared to most night vision goggles which have an 8 to 12 degree field of view. This item was supposed to hit the shelves for $399, awesome!
