Review on Holmes Carbon HAPF60 Filter C (Black) 4 Pack - High-Performance Air Filter Bundle by Tyler Gannamani

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Scattered around my house 5 of these have fixed my sinus problems

I have 2 of these true HEPA filters in each of my large Holmes air purifiers. Holmes air purifiers are not expensive. 1 air purifier on the ground floor and 1 in the basement. I have almost 2 years from my last batch. Completely eliminated my sinus pressure and headaches. I was taking ibuprofen (with calcium powder or milk to mitigate acidity) 5 or 6 times a day prior to my current air purification regimen. Small air purifiers alone in several rooms will not do their job. Air purifiers should cover the whole house so there is no possibility of sensitization. I also have a smaller true HEPA Holmes air purifier in my bedroom. I have 4 Zoro MERV 13 filters in my CHP and air conditioning. They alone are not enough to stop sinus problems as the system fan is not running all the time. The only way to stop nasal sensitivity is to have full 24/7 air purification throughout the house. I've lived with sinus problems for decades. Once my nasal passages and sinuses become sensitive, anything can trigger them. Odors, mold, all kinds of dust, all kinds of pollen, etc. I also have a dehumidifier in the basement. This is also necessary. If the humidity goes above 50%, I have sinus problems again because the mold in the basement is spreading throughout the house. MERV 13 filters are not enough to stop all mold. Mold spores are tiny. Air purifiers take time to remove mold from air vents. This makes me sensitized. If you have allergies or sinus problems, you probably know what I'm talking about that you get annoyed more easily from time to time.
