My dog always puts himself in it when he sees it, even when we're not out. It's also a great car seat! The strap snapped when I took it out of the box but after inspecting it it wasn't the strap I was going to use anyway so I didn't return it. I use this backpack every day with my little girl because I take it everywhere and it has proved to be very durable and comfortable even though the original strap broke. My little one weighs about 8-9 pounds and is about 11-12 inches long and has plenty of room. She can stand, sit and lie stretched out without any problems.
