When they said this knife was sharp, they really meant it! I accidentally bought this item as an add-on because it was pretty cheap, but didn't think I'd be using it for many projects. I've used this knife in many DIY projects, even as a box opener to open packages and letters. I've definitely used it a lot, but the blade hasn't dulled anywhere. The only downside is that using this knife to cut material for long periods of time will cause shoulder pain due to the repetitive force you have to apply to the knife to cut material. So be careful! Cap even when you're not using it.
