I recently bought two bidets. The one for the main bathroom was another brand that was bought because it had washing facilities for both the back and women. From installation to usage it was a total disappointment. So I didn't have high expectations when I installed the FooFoo bidet in my child's bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised that FooFoo outperformed the other brand in every way. - Installation - The first bidet I installed was a real pain. The t-valve rubber washer that came with it was the wrong size for the tank fill valve so even teflon tape wouldn't seal it. Their advertised hotline wasn't working so as a workaround I bought a set of different pucks from the Name Brand Big Box Store. The rubber washer that came with the FooFoo T valve was perfect. Installation was easy - it literally took FooFoo less than five minutes to install! - Operation - FooFoo has once again outperformed the bidet I've bought elsewhere. Other brand bidets have a dial to select the function - ladies wash, jet wash or tail wash, then a lever that you lift to start and adjust the water pressure. Its location is inconvenient, and the lever is likely a poor choice for those with young children. While I was showing my young daughter how it worked, she lifted the lever before I could explain to only do this while sitting on the potty to get the water sloshing all over the bathroom. FooFoo has a simple three position switch - Off. and self-cleaning. It's easy to control but not too easy to accidentally turn on. Both bidets have a nozzle cleaning feature that works equally well in both bidets. Don't use this feature anyway. The design of other bidet brands makes it incredibly uncomfortable to use women's linen. You basically have to position your body to hit the right spot, so we only use the rear wash feature. to FooFoo Water Pressure.--Conclusion-- Overall, it seems that simplicity is the key to success. Another brand's bidet has a useless ladies washing function due to its awkward location and low water pressure, although there is a lever to control just that. FooFoo, on the other hand, has a simple turning dial to turn it on and off, hitting the right spot with the perfect amount of water pressure to clean your bum every time during use. If you read reviews and are looking for a good bidet, I recommend FooFoo for its affordable price, easy installation, and ease of use.
