I wanted to replace the handlebar tips on my wife's bike. One was lost, the other was damaged. There are standoffs on the ends of the Kewell bars to prevent future losses. Please note that there are no instructions for these rod ends. There is one detail that you should pay attention to when installing it. The spacer plug inside the handlebar end must be unscrewed so that the expansion plug does not touch the handlebar end before it is inserted into the handlebar. When inserting the end of the rod, insert it with the screw post, not the end of the rod. If you simply insert the assembly with the cap into the handlebar, the spacer plug will slide onto the end of the bar before it is fully seated in the handlebar. This will break the expansion plug. They look great, they are easy to install and I am very happy with the result.
