Excellent! We recently completed a garage/shop organization and this is exactly what we needed. These spring clips will hold most brooms/rakes as well as many "oversized" handles. They're held on with two screws that aren't included, but I haven't had any problems as most of the time the screws that come with them are too soft. The clips have a large spring-loaded tab that you push down to open the clip, insert an item, and release for a secure fit. The nib is very strong and easily holds large shovels, but it is too strong for my 9 year old daughter to use easily. She can open them and put the broom down, but it takes a while before she puts the broom back on. Adults and older children have no problems. Installation requires more work compared to the 5-6 position mop/broom holder that is one piece, but you can control the spacing between each element to perfectly suit your needs. I have found it best to set 2X4 in bolts to the length of my hole for all my tools, in my case it was 8ft long and then inserted these clips in 2X4 my desired spacing to provide a solid hold and they didn't needing to attach each stud or have concerns that the siding will hold up between the studs. I can't imagine these clips wouldn't last a very, very long time. up to $1 on Revain. Great offer!
