I've been using the same home theater system for about 15 years. It sounded good overall, but I had to turn off the subwoofer due to its low level. I've tried repositioning the speaker and tried all sorts of settings. I still had little of him. We had to replace our TV which resulted in many changes to our setup. At the same time, I decided to buy a new cable for the subwoofer, and the low frequencies disappeared from it. In my case, the cable slipped easily as I had read that it was difficult to put on. Maybe it's the system.
