Works well with HomeAssistant on Pi 4 using a 3rd party Zigbee USB hub. Motion detection status is updated approximately every 2-3 minutes, motion detected after deletion is almost instantaneous. There are hardware mods that allow for faster no-motion update, but I believe they will decrease battery life, and for my use case (motion-activated light) it was easier to reduce the time it takes the light to turn on after motion must remain Sensor is deleted. However, they are still motion sensors. For room presence detection, I would suggest something else in the long run, as it's a bit annoying when the lights go out on the couch and I have to stretch my arm to catch the motion sensor again. This is not a fault of the product as it correctly recognizes that there has been no movement during this period, but should be taken into account by others involved in home automation. However, at such a low price it wasn't an expensive lesson and I'm sure I can see a use for the sensors I have installed in my apartment.
