Review on 📷 Dorman 590-420 Rear Park Assist Camera for Select Ford Models: Enhance Your Vehicle's Safety and Parking Ease by Mark Jefferson

I bought this for a 2012 Ford Explorer XLT with a bad camera that broke one day. Installation was easy and only took 15 minutes after watching a YouTube video. Note that you will need to remove the four 10mm screws on the bottom and the two 11mm screws on the far sides of the silver trim (which holds the camera) before it can be pryed out with a pry tool or screwdriver. The black plastic piece holding the camera was a bit tricky to remove and put back on, but once installed the camera fit and worked perfectly. I recommend turning on the car and checking the camera after installation before reinstalling the trim. Another note: if your camera is out of service and only works for a while, there may be corrosion on the camera's cables and connectors that will need to be addressed. I could see water got under my trim but thank goodness only the camera was damaged.
