Overall, this kettle is functional. It works to heat water. Pros: Beautiful spout design that allows for precise pouring where needed. Looks great on the stove. It works to heat water. Cons: The plastic handle is nice because it's easy to grip, but mine melted on the gas stove the first time I used it. It still works but looks a bit strange. Because of this problem, I cannot recommend this kettle.
