Description of ☕ Soulhand Pour Over Kettle: Black Gooseneck Water Kettle with Thermometer for Induction Cooker - 51oz/1500Ml

1.5L/50oz LARGE CAPACITY: Boil water for a big brew or multiple smaller brews in a single pour over coffee kettle. (Practical Capacity: 1.0L/34oz). WELL-ANGLED GOOSENECK SPOUT: This drip brew coffee kettle with a slim gooseneck spout makes it easier to control the amount and speed of hot water being poured when brewing pour over coffee. ULTIMATE POURING CONTROL: Use a gooseneck coffee kettle in hand brewing to maintain a consistent flow of water and stop when necessary. A precise pour balances the coffee grounds and ultimately reduces the bitterness and sourness of the coffee. NOTE: Not recommended for gas cooktop. BREW RANGE THERMOMETER: A thermometer sits atop the pour over stovetop kettle lid and highlights the ideal coffee brewing temperature range of 90 to 96 degrees so you know when your water is ready to brew – no guessing required.

Melting kettle in a pot

I was very excited about this kettle when I got it and saw a lot of good reviews. However, when I first used it I burned my kettle because the handle is not heat resistant at all and started to melt on the side of the kettle. I have a gas stove and made sure this kettle fits as advertised. I am very disappointed and feel like I wasted my money.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Great design but scratches

I love the design of this teapot and we use it to make tea right in the teapot. It's very easy to water and holds the perfect amount of water. I give it 4 stars because the blue paint on the outside is unfortunately very prone to scratches. The first time I washed it and put it on our metal dryer, the dryer left scratches on the outside, so it's very fragile.

Plastic pen? in the kitchen and dining room

Overall, this kettle is functional. It works to heat water. Pros: Beautiful spout design that allows for precise pouring where needed. Looks great on the stove. It works to heat water. Cons: The plastic handle is nice because it's easy to grip, but mine melted on the gas stove the first time I used it. It still works but looks a bit strange. Because of this problem, I cannot recommend this kettle.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Excessive price

Strong yet lightweight

Replaced my old kettle with this one. I like the wooden handle, chunky but very comfortable. And the handle doesn't get hot. I like the top cover because it's easy to remove. The capacity is also good because it holds a lot of water. I use gooseneck for both hot coffee and cold brew (using cold water for cold brew). I wasn't a big fan of flowers, but that's incredibly minor. This gooseneck is really good and worth the price.

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

***HANDLE MELTS!***

I read everything that was said about this kettle before buying it. There was nothing that ever made me think I needed to watch WHERE I put it on the stove to heat it up. I have a regular electric stove. FIRST USE I placed the kettle (let's face it, everyone's favorite burner) on the bottom right. When my water was hot, so was the handle! The entire underside of the handle is now melted, and I got burned trying to pick it up! I melted rubber on my fingers after testing. Super screwed up. The…

Good kettle but with an annoying flaw

Big size and spout. I don't really like painted teapots, but this one might do. The only reason I had to stop using it was for the stylus. It's small, thin, and the least ergonomic kettle handle I've ever used. It also has little support, meaning it will noticeably flex in your hand before you pick it up. It doesn't look like it's going to break or bend permanently, but the flex makes me wonder when trying to be precise. The other downside to the tiny handle is the inside corner where the…

Good teapot, unpretentious and stylish

I had a Breville coffee maker for 8 years, I liked the thing, unfortunately it broke and I couldn't afford a new one (they cost around $300) I decided to stop at the teapot. I chose this one because of the thermometer and anti-corrosion properties. In general, I would prefer copper for tea, but it is much more difficult to maintain. I have to say I love this guy! It fits perfectly on my hob and keeps the heat really well, so sometimes when I'm making my Earl Gray in the morning I can use the…

Pros
  • There's something to it

Beautiful, effective teapot

I love the style and look of this teapot. Our induction hob heats up very quickly. Cook at level 6 out of 10! The handle doesn't get hot - I also use a small burner and as I said it cooks at a much lower level than you might think. People who have melty handles are probably using it on a gas torch and getting too hot. Not to mention the obvious, but this is a kettle - its walls get hot - don't touch the walls or lid of the kettle. The small thermometer is the lifting point for removing the…
