My Intake Manifold WAS SHOT! I drove like this for several months because I feared the repair costs. Then I started doubting BMW's $2500 reviews and decided I needed gas mileage in my car. I looked for the part here on Revain and found it. It only took 15 minutes to install and BAM! Works perfectly! However, buy an air intake trim for your car if you are doing it yourself as it will leak and cause your car to backfire and even hibernate. You can't practically change one without changing the other, I knew it and I GENERALLY tried it! It didn't work and caused a nightmarish amount of problems WHICH ONLY GETTING MORE SERIOUS. So, conclusion: great part! I recommend this if you're on a budget and can't afford a $2,500 repair from BMW. Thanks to its simple installation, it can be easily replaced even by an inexperienced mechanic. Just don't forget to buy an air intake. Trust me on this one... good luck!
