I have previously purchased two sets of full view mirrors from Kmart's As Seen On TV section. I often tow trailers and wanted better visibility around the jeep. The Kmart mirrors were heavy duty ABS plastic with GENUINE 3M double sided tape. Mirror perfectly, no object distortion, perfect convex surface with durable anti-scratch mirror coating. I liked these mirrors. Looking forward to my Revain "NEW" TotalView mirrors. COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT! The black plastic has the rigidity of a Rubbermaid bag, and the mirrored finish is like a reflective mylar emergency blanket taped to the lid of a margarine jar! The viewing surface is distorted and VERY uneven, like a mirror your kid might get in a makeup bag! The double-sided tape is a low-density foam tape, just like poster board tape! It will NOT survive multiple car washes or severe winters as the tape is porous allowing water to seep into the mounting surface and adhesive. My advice, find ORIGINAL TotalView mirrors. It can be said that a mirror surface is visible in the package, there will be no fake carton image on the visible surface. And they're only $9.99 a pack!
